Registering as a property owner
To display your property with Love That Place, you must register as a property owner so that other people can find your property.
To become a member you will firstly need to set up an profile. You will be asked to provide a valid email address and password to access this service online.
The property owner is able to nominate motivation to sell using the 1 to 5 level rating system from one to five (five indicating an absolute desire to sell). Similarly, a potential buyer can indicate their interest in purchasing a particular property using the level ratings from one to five (five indicating an absolute desire to purchase).
Logging on to your profile
Once you have registered, you will be able to log on to Love That Place at any time to view your admirers, inspections, ratings and to update your details.
Viewing your ratings and statistics
As a property owner you will automatically be sent a message alert each time someone admires your property. Your email address will not be disclosed, and the message can be viewed on the Love That Place closed message board.
Your may choose to have your street address and property rating displayed or hidden.
Upon a 'Double Match'
A 'Double Match' occurs when a property owner and a property admirer have each registered a 'four or five level motivation status' for the same property.
Once you have a 'Double Match' you have the ability to:
- Deal privately and directly with each other on a property transaction
- Or, negotiate via an assisted sales process where Love That Place provides you with the details of a local real estate expert who "Loves Your Suburb" to act on your behalf. Standard real estate commissions and fees may apply.
- Please Note - Love That Place is not a real estate agency or broker and is not entitled to any sales commission or finders fee.
How to upload and display your property
You can upload a JPG, GIF or PNG file. You must certify that you have the right to distribute any picture and that it does not violate the
Terms and Conditions of Use.
The file size limit is 4 MB. If your upload does not work, try a smaller picture.
The size of the image will automatically scale and crop to the size of the display area. Remember it's free to upload 5 images.

To remove a picture
You can remove any picture from your property page by logging in to your member profile and clicking the 'remove' button next to the image you wish to remove.
Property display tips
To get the best results for your property and to ensure your privacy we recommend:
- that you take plenty of photos of your property, both internal and external - upload the best 5 photos onto the site.
- setting your digital camera at 800 x 600 pixels for web images (pixels are the numbers of dots on the screen). The images should be crisp (not blurry) and taken in good light.
- focus on the property and the rooms and not too much on features; unless the position and the view is what you think people will love about your property! For example; take an external photograph, and include photographs of rooms which will attract a visitor's interest such as your kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room and an image of your outlook/view.
Love That Place reserves the right to remove any photos it considers inappropriate, including those with people in them. Love That Place recommends that you remove all valuables and wall hangings including family pictures, prior to photographing.

Writing your property description
Write a short description about your property (maximum 500 characters), and include as much detail as possible in the available space. The more information you can provide, the more attractive your property may be to a visitor or potential purchaser. You can also share with the Love That Place community details of your architect, builder, fixtures, fittings, landscape design and colour scheme.
Tagging content (keywords)
The content you place on Love That Place is automatically 'tagged' and can be searched by others.
After creating a profile with Love That Place you can upload your photos and property description to the site

Setting your property preferences
Once you have added your property address, information and images, you will then have the option to set some preferences relating to that property. You can set 'Who can see my property rating' (as voted by any other registered Love That Place users) as visible on your property page, or not. You can also choose 'Who can see property comments'. With this option, you also have full control over all comments on your properties. This means you can remove any negative or abusive comments.
The final option in your property preferences is your 'Motivation to Sell'. This is an indication of your desire to sell the property, one to five (five indicating an absolute desire to sell)
